Hab-it Exercises › Forums › Ask Tasha! › Hab it video-pregnant with diastasis
Hi Tasha. I have some pelvic floor Dysfunction (if I sneeze with a full bladder I sometimes leak a tiny bit and I also leak if I jump on a trampoline). I have 2 finger width diastasis from my first 2 kids and I’m 15 weeks pregnant with baby #3. I’ve been doing TA exercises and want to start PF exercises too to minimize damage with this delivery. I saw your video on amazon…are there any exercises on there I should NOT do while pregnant or with the diastasis (like a plank)? Thanks!!
Hi Margaret,
I have pregnancy exercises available on YouTube at:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPmv9G8F_fY
Following your delivery, don’t be afraid to work a plank with your hands on the 3rd or 4th stair. The incline decreases the direct pull of gravity on your diastasis but the plank position is the best way to engage your TA as you progress back to regular activities.
