Dear Tasha,
Do you know anything about the Bowen Technique Therapy, I’ve read that it can be helpful for prolapse. I’m wondering whether to try it along with the Hab-it exercises.
Regards,
Em
Em,
Hands on therapy is always beneficial for our bodies. Just like massage therapy, you are guaranteed increased blood flow. The effects are never guaranteed -so much can depend on the skill of your therapist. Also there is not guarantee of lasting results unless you make the postural changes and learn the correct muscle activation.
So if you are looking for an adjunct therapy on top of everything you have to do personally, then Bowen Technique, mayan abdomainal massage, and more hands on techniques can be a nice choice, but they are not magic. They require your action to make a long term difference!

Thanks for your reply Tasha. I have downloaded your DVD but am finding it difficult to get started, I think I’m worried about making things worse, which I know doesn’t seem likely given all the positive comments about it.
Em,
No worries – start by reading through the Educate Yourself section – read it top to bottom and your confidence will boost tremendously…plus it will give you a headstart on posture, breathing, and other positive habits you should incorporate into your daily life.
