I am a year and a half post partum and have been experiencing stress incontinence ever since. Is there a reason why my incontinence is better mid-cycle? Is it related to hormones?
I have been doing your habit dvd (not as consistently as I’d like) which has also helped. But I still need to wear a pad everyday. Would you recommend moving onto the advanced workout? Should I be supplementing in between workouts with daily kegels?
Thank you so much!!
Marisa,
Are you confident in your co-contraction of your TA, Multifidi, and pelvic floor. If you are, you should feel a lift of your TA and pelvic floor with every multifidi exercise, and you should feel your multifidi holding strong with every TA exercise etc. This co-contraction should feel like lifting pressure off of your pelvic floor. Before you go on to the Advanced or Hab It Cardio program, I want you to be confident that you are firing the right muscles, and that you can chest breathe, and that neutral spine is natural for you now.
Once you check those boxes, you can move on and let us know how it goes.
