Hi, I have only just got the DVD and have done Workout 1 a couple of times, have ordered a soft ball to use with it, enjoyed the workout it made me feel good to be working out the other muscles as well as the pelvic floor. I have been doing pelvic floor exercises for the past 3 months under the guidance of a physio who specialises in pelvic floor problems, I am in my 60’s married with 2 grown up sons & live in the UK. I have a rectocele which I think has been there for a few years but a few months ago I noticed it was more apparent as in a bulge sensation so thats why I went to my GP who referred me to physio. I have done loads of research online and it is clear to me that prolapse is a huge issue for many women and is not talked about openly. I have always kept fit, aerobics, cycling, walking, Pilates, you nsme it. But I had a difficult delivery with my first baby, deep forceps and lots of stitches and now think that probably this could have contributed to my prolapse. In addition 2 years ago I had Stage 1 breast cancer, I had the lump out & it hadn’t spread so no chemo, I had radiotherapy and now have to take Anastrozole tablets which inhibits the production of oestrogen which definately does not help with pelvic floor either! Anyway, the reason for my post is that I have been doing the pelvic floor exercises, Kegel slow and fast squeezes, for the past 2 months and it felt like a lost cause to start with, I could not hold the squeeze for long and I often felt like giving up. Now all of a sudden literally in the past couple of days I seem to have turned a corner! I no longer have the bulge or heaviness down there, everything seems more toned and I am squeezing more strongly, it is very subtle not a huge difference but it definately feels better. So my message to all you other ladies out there is don’t give up, it is a slog and at times I wondered if I was getting nowhere but it seems to be paying off now! Am now looking forward to progressing further with the Hab-it DVD. Best wishes.

    Awesome note of encouragement, Valerie!
