Hello Tasha,
I discovered that I had a bladder prolapse at three months postpartum and recently discovered your DVD. I am now six months postpartum and have been doing your exercises for the past few weeks. I do, however, have a question with regards to the exercise video – should I do the video with an empty bladder? I notice that my prolapse is worse towards the end of the day or when I have a full bladder.
Thank you in advance,
Jade
Jade,
Maybe you should try doing the exercises in the morning before fatigue can adversely effect your pelvic basket, making muscle recruitment more difficult. And yes, things like a full bladder, even a full stomach can increase our prolapse symptoms.
Great that you noted these things. It is important to recognize how different things such as exercise, eating, time of day, time of month, and more can effect our pelvic floor symptoms.
