The best sleeping position again focuses on neutral spine position. Lying on your back is good. If you have tight hip flexors, you may require a pillow under your knees in this position, but most do not. Also, lying on your side is a good position. If you have back pain on your side or shoulder pain or arm numbness you may require a pillow between your knees and or a pillow to hug close to your belly.
Although sleeping on your stomach is tough on your neck, I do recommend you get on your stomach for atleast 10 minutes every day. Just take a couple 5 minute breaks throughout your day and lay on your stomach. It is good to extend your body and get out of your tendency to stay in flexed positions.
